What causes loose skin?
Two key substances are essential for healthy, tight skin. Collagen makes up about 75% of the dermis, the layer just below the skin’s surface, where it’s responsible for strong, well-toned skin. Another protein in the dermis, elastin, keeps your skin resilient.
Over the years, unprotected exposure to sunlight damages collagen. As you get older, the cushioning layer of fat diminishes and your skin produces progressively less collagen and elastin. The result is loose, wrinkled skin.
How does the J-Plasma device tighten my skin?
